ith the military simulation ARMA 3, the developer Bohemia Interactive continues its game series, which once began with the legendary first Operation Flashpoint. So ARMA 3 also relies on open-world environments, many vehicles (eg tanks, helicopters, airplanes - some futuristic, because near-future setting), weapons (this time modular) and a credible simulation of military operations and combat conditions. In addition to the multiplayer and co-op modes, the solo campaign will lead NATO soldier Captain Scott Miller to the foe-riddled Aegean island of Lemnos in the near future. Here he has to get through alone after a failed secret mission alone. Later, however, the command of larger troop units should also be the focus. Unlike ARMA 2, the campaign is not co-opible this time, but it's intended to be more interesting to individual players and minimize the need to work with AI buddies to avoid frustration with AI errors. ARMA 3 uses the revised technology of its predecessor and for the first time relies on PhysX calculation. Also included: a powerful editor and mod-support.
